What is Afterpay?

Afterpay is a buy now, pay later platform that allows customers to create an account and pay for purchases over instalments, rather than all at once. 

Similar to layby, except that you are able to take your goods first, rather than waiting for the full amount to be paid. 

Afterpay payments are taken out in fortnightly instalments, over four transactions, with any missed payments incurring a late fee. There will also be limits on how much you can spend, that will be increased as you use the service more. 

Where Can I Use it?

Afterpay is accepted in many online and in-store retailers, as well as some service providers. You will be able to find more information about specific retailers by asking in store or on their website.

How Does it Work?

Afterpay works by paying the provider in full at the time of purchase, while the purchaser pays in four equal instalments over the next four fortnights.
